Here we are, 45 days after the start of the level 10 challenge I finally got to see my results.
I started out very strict, I ate exactly 1600 kcal a day, over 100 grams of protein and I did a (small) workout everyday before and after work. In my weekends I tried to stick to approximately 1600 kcal, but I ate the things I really craved. Most of the weekend days I ate with friends or at a restaurant and I made sure I also enjoyed the French cuisine. After a while it is getting harder to count my calories every single day, but I do have a pretty good image of what I can eat to get to the 1600 kcal, so it isn’t necessary to always count every bite I take. A girl still should be able to enjoy her food, right?
It worked very well for me, my meal plan makes sure that I don’t feel hungry, I feel satisfied and I feel healthy. I noticed slight results during the days and I enjoyed them. At the end I did less workouts, because I got kind of busy in my social life, but I did feel more energetic on the days I work out.
My results after 45 days:
Fat mass: 28,8%, 4,4 % down!!
Muscle mass: 45,3%, GAINED 2,6 kg!
Weight: 67 kg (1,5 kg down, not bad at all, since I gained a lot of muscle mass!)
Metabolic Age: from the body of a 36 year old back to 28 years!
I am very proud and happy, I felt like I would be stuck at around 33% body fat forever. And now I lost 4,4% in just 45 days, that’s almost 0,1% a day! Also the muscle mass is amazing, since I never set foot in the gym in those 45 days and I don’t have any sports gear at home. The slight weight loss seems perfect to me, since I gained 2,6 kg in muscle weight.
Remember, getting fit is not at all about your weight. It is your fat and muscle mass that really matter!
These results totally motivate me to continue my meal plan, even though the level 10 challenge is over I will continue on working hard to get even better results!
